I came to my local dealer for a smog check (ugh, California) today. This is the last thing I expected to see!
I assumed it was going to have some insane markup, but there was no window sticker to be found. Flagged down a salesman and found out omeone had TRADED IT IN at Ferrari of Newport Beach, the dealer bought it from them at 3k over sticker, and already sold it at 10k over sticker yesterday.
It looks brand new with only about 3k on the clock.
For such a hard to find car, I was surprised at the path it took to find a new home.

Awesome car. Not a good color for the 981.

These are for sale all the time on the forums. Seems like some people just bought them because they could and are now dumping them for regular prices:

I suppose that makes sense...your dealer offers you the car so you buy it with no intention of really keeping it.

Yea. A lot of the people who bought them already own GT3RS’s, some even 918's. Those owners got priority and to them 10k is the cost of a pack of gum.

if youre trading it in on a new ferrari... and just got 3k over what you paid for it, plus having driven it for 3k miles, sounds like you got a pretty good deal.

No the Porsche dealer paid 3k over MSRP to buy it from the Ferrari dealer. No idea what the owner got.

None of those prices are “regular”. MSRP on the GT4 was $86k.
